The estates of the victims of a 1993 "for-hire" triple homicide are suing the publisher of a book entitled "Hit Man: A Technical Manual For Independent Contractors" alleging that the publisher is liable for the wrongful deaths of a Maryland woman, her son, and the son's live-in nurse. The suit alleges that the book's explict instructions for guaranteeing the death of victims and destroying forensic evidence were used by the killer of the three, who had purchased the book via mail order.
